A special edition of the podcast! I went to spend some time at The Spinning Loft in Howell, MI at the end of December. This is not exactly a Yarn Crawl episode, more of an unfettered conversation with the funny and knowledgeable Beth Smith. Rule of thumb guide for what you can make with fiber by weight: 2-3 oz wrist warmers or fingerless mitts (or edging on a larger project) 4 oz mittens or a hat 6-8 oz scarf 1 lb vest 1.5-2 lb sweater Add an ounce for sampling
