Small Talk:  I've been indulging in some guilty pleasures, including TV:  IRT Deadliest Roads.   Also a few trips to Disneyland with and without my son.  Progress on my knitting -- running out of yarn on the Dad vest.  Poll on what I'm going to finish next.  Plans for Facebook page and Ravelry group include notifications of new episodes!

Parenting segment: Behavior change in kids, positive reinforcement and rewards.  Inspired by an interview I heard with the author of this Slate magazine article from March 26, 2010 called "If You're Good, I'll Buy You a Toy:  The difference between bribing your child and rewarding your child"

Fiber segment:  Felting!  We discuss Felt Frenzy:  26 projects for all forms of felting  and i [heart symbol] felt:  33 eye-popping projects for the inspired knitter  Actually complimentary and both will stay on my shelf, info was more comprehensive in the first book, but the projects more appealing in the second.
